Bonnie has always had a love for the spaniel breed from a young age. Her first cocker Penny was purchased in 1985 as a first birthday present for her oldest son. Penny was a great family companion and a great first dog for a young boy. Then there was Molly, a springer spaniel that joined the family home. Molly was another great family pet that loved the nieces and nephews. Penny and Molly fueled the love for all types of spaniels, but the small, compact, energetic cocker begun a life long quest to love, train, show and breed this versatile little dog.
Richard's first cocker was Jake. Jake was a lovely parti colored cocker that came to Richard as a rescue. Coming from an unknown background, Jake became a constant companion to Richard for many years. Jake had several medical and behavioral issues, but none the less he was loved.
Together, Richard and I are members of the Halifax Kennel Club, The American Cocker Spaniel Club of Canada, the Canadian Kennel Club and the Prince Edward Interprovincial Springer Spaniel Club. We are committed to showing, loving, and careful breeding of a versatile Cocker. We do all health testing on our dogs and hope to breed cockers that are sound in temperment, health, and structure, so the resulting pups will be good ambassadors of the breed.
